I’m home! I’ve been called home from the north early. It seems there’s work to be done here, so bring it on. I also came home to a surprise care package containing among other wonderful things, soup and hot chocolate. Thank you so much Care Package Fairy for making my winter warmer and more chocolatey.

The first thing I did when I got home was make a huge bowl of Mac and Cheese. I’ll need its energy and sweet cheesy goodness for the coming evening. There’s a sunset drive tonight, but also… a midnight drive! I’ve always wanted to do a midnight drive! Inthesummer. There’s a good selection of animals that really only come out hours after the sun goes down. Inthesummer. Whether they’ll come out when it hits -10 tonight is something yet to be seen.  I can’t wait!
