Statistics
CBE’s Statistics programs will equip you to deliver crucial insight in increasingly information-
driven environments in business, science and government.
Statistics opens the door to understanding our world through the exploration of data and the
modelling of uncertainty. The need for statistics is growing rapidly as our ability to collect
substantial amounts of data outruns our ability to understand and use the data we collect.
“I always wanted to explore statistics because it’s an industry-
exible specialisation that helps nd a range of solutions.

Flexible double degrees
Flexible double degrees have increased the range of options for undergraduate students, so you
can create a program of study to suit your needs and interests. Satisfy your intellectual curiosity
and tailor your studies to prepare for your dream career.
Benets of a Flexible Double Degree include:
study two Bachelor degrees at the same time and graduate with two qualications
two qualications mean a clear advantage when applying for jobs
it takes less time than studying two undergraduate degrees separately
you’ll have the same full-time workload as a student doing just one Bachelor degree.
Combine:
two degrees in the Arts, Social Sciences, Business or Science*
a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) with a degree in another eld*
a Bachelor of Engineering or Advanced Computing with a degree in
another eld.*
