Intent Covenant
● An agreement by the Cheerleader that he/she will be
committed to our squad and uphold the values and ideals
that we represent-through participation, behavior, and
academics.
● Parent agreement of having read and understood the rules,
policies, and duties of our squad.

Financial Responsibilities
● $30.00 Tryout Fee, due no later than the Monday of
Clinic.
● $140.00 Camp Fee, due by May 10th, 2019.
● $55.00 monthly for Twisters Gym practice due on the 25th,
beginning in July.
● $425.00 Squad Fee, payment schedule TBA, ALL monies due
no later than September 1st, 2019. This will cover the
items on next slide.
○ $50.00 of this is the Uniform Rental, ALL uniforms will be returned.

Donation Letter
● Each Cheerleader will be asked to gather a total of
$100.00 (due by May 20th) in donations to go into the
Team fund.
○ This account pays for a variety Cheer needs and miscellaneous
expenses accrued throughout the year.
Demerit System
● We have implemented a Demerit system as required by Knox
County.
● Please refer to the documents outlining the Demerit
System.
Tryout PROCEDURES
● Clinic days- April 23rd, 24th, and 25th from 4:00-6:00
○ Cheer, Chants, and Dance taught by Allie Webster, CNU Cheerleader.
● Formal Tryouts- April 26th, arrive as early as 4:15,
official start time at 4:30. We anticipate finishing by
6:00, but will continue until all candidates have been
seen
○ Please wear a blank white t-shirt, solid black shorts, tennis/shoes,
and hair pulled back.
● Cheerleaders who have been selected for the 2019-2020 GMS
Cheerleading Team will be posted on the front door of the
school around 7:00 pm.
TEACHER EVALUATIONS
● All candidates are required to turn in THREE teacher
evaluations.
○ These documents are included in the packet, you have also been given
three numbered envelopes. Teacher Evals should be placed in the
envelopes and sealed by the teacher.
