AIDS Outreach Center
The Tarrant County AIDS Outreach Center provides services and education to residents living
with HIV/AIDS. Current programs for people living with HIV include case management, patient

Re-Entry First Stop Center
Re-Entry First Stop Center helps ex-offenders returning from incarceration in Tarrant County.
Services include counseling, medical care, educational resources and more. Provides referrals
to service providers of emergency assistance, employment, housing, etc. Offers a weekly
orientation/reentry essentials class every Monday on how to return to Tarrant County from
incarceration.

Tarrant County Department of Human Services
Tarrant County Department of Human Services (TCDHS) is the County's temporary financial
assistance program. Financial assistance is provided to eligible households for rent, mortgage,
utilities, food and hygiene items, and transportation on a limited basis.
To qualify for rental and utility assistance the following criteria must be met: resides in Tarrant
County, demonstrates the ability to maintain housing with one-time assistance, income does not
exceed 185 percent of the Federal Poverty Level, and the landlord must be willing to agree for
the tenant to stay for a minimum of three additional months.

Arlington Urban Ministries
Arlington Urban Ministries provides the following programs: utility assistance, rental assistance

percent of the AMI. Individuals will be required to attend a financial management class and will
receive case management for three months.
