REVERSE PARKING AID FUNCTION
When the gear shift lever is moved into R (Reverse) and while the vehicle is moving
backward, the outside rearview mirrors will rotate downward to aid in reverse parking.
To turn ON the Reverse Parking Aid Function, press the L (left)

and (R) Right

rearview mirror switches simultaneously (LED lit). To turn OFF, press both buttons
simultaneously again (LED not lit).
The outside rearview mirrors will automatically return to their original positions when ONE
of the following occurs:
• The ENGINE START/STOP Button is in the OFF position.
• The gear shift lever is moved out of R (Reverse).
• The outside rearview mirror switches are OFF (LED not lit).

The Rear View Monitor system is a supplemental system that displays the view behind the
vehicle through the audio head screen while the vehicle is in Reverse.
The Rear View Monitor activates when both the:
• Engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position
• Gear Shift Lever is in the R (Reverse) position
SMART CRUISE CONTROL (SCC) WITH STOP & GO

The Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop and Go system is designed to help maintain a
predetermined distance from vehicles detected ahead by automatically adjusting the driving
speed as needed.
To set/adjust the SCC speed:
• Press the CRUISE button

to turn the system ON. The CRUISE indicator will illuminate
on the instrument cluster.
• Accelerate/decelerate to the desired speed.
• Press the SET – button

down to set the speed. Press the RES+/SET- button

up/down to increase/decrease the set speed.
To set the vehicle-to-vehicle distance:
• Press the SCC button

on the steering wheel.
• Each time you press

, the vehicle-to-vehicle distance will change

To cancel SCC operation: Press the CANCEL button

or press the brake pedal. The LCD
screen will display a message that the SCC operation is canceled.
To turn SCC system OFF: Press the CRUISE button

. The CRUISE indicator on the instrument cluster will turn OFF.
The driver may choose to only use the conventional Cruise Control mode (speed control function) by doing as follows:
1. Turn the Smart Cruise Control System on (the cruise indicator light will be on but the system will not be activated).
2. Push and hold the Vehicle-to-Vehicle Distance button for more than 2 seconds.
3. Choose between “Smart Cruise Control” and “Cruise Control.” When the system is canceled using the CRUISE button or
the CRUISE button is used after the engine is turned on, the Smart Cruise Control mode will turn on.
DRIVE MODE INTEGRATED CONTROL SYSTEM
SMART, COMFORT, SPORT, CUSTOM and ECO drive modes may be changed according to the
driver’s preference or road conditions. To change the drive mode, press the DRIVE MODE

COMFORT Mode – The system’s default mode is COMFORT mode and is not displayed on the
instrument cluster nor the audio system’s screen.
ECO Mode – A green ECO indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster. To deactivate,
press the DRIVE MODE button

again to change the selection to another setting.
CUSTOM Mode – A purple CUSTOM indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster. To
deactivate, press the DRIVE MODE button

again to change the selection to another setting.
CUSTOM settings can be adjusted in the audio head unit screen.
SPORT Mode – A red SPORT indicator will illuminate on the instrument cluster. To deactivate,
press the DRIVE MODE button

SMART Mode – When SMART mode is activated, the system automatically selects the
drive mode best suited to the current driving style. A SMART indicator will illuminate on
the instrument cluster. The color of the SMART indicator will change depending on the
current driving style. To deactivate, press the DRIVE MODE button

DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEMS (DIS) CONTROLS
Provides access to all navigation and audio system control unit features.

Controller – In addition to the touch screen, the controller serves as a means for
navigating K900’s UVO link with Navigation system. The controller has multiple functions:
a scroll knob – for scrolling the keyboard and menus and zooming in and out on the map
screen; and a push button (up, down, left, right, in) – for selecting the highlighted feature.

Home – Displays the audio head unit’s Home menu which provides access to the following
options: Map, Navigation, Radio, Media, Data Services, Phone Projection, Phone, UVO, Climate,
Voice Memo, Favorites and Setup.
C
Menu – Provides access to additional functions when available.
D
Back – Returns to the previous screen.
SURROUND VIEW MONITOR (SVM)

The Surround View Monitor (SVM) system is a parking support system that shows the
areas around the front, rear, left, and right sides of the vehicle via four cameras displayed
onto the navigation screen. Press

to turn the SVM system ON/OFF.
When OFF: The camera view will automatically display on the navigation screen when the
vehicle is shifted into Reverse. The camera view will turn off when the vehicle is shifted
out of Reverse.
When ON: The camera view will display on the navigation screen in both Drive and Reverse.
In Drive, the camera view will continue to display until the vehicle is traveling at speeds above
approximately 13 mph. If you keep the SVM system on, the camera view will reappear on
the navigation screen whenever the vehicle speeds drops below approximately 13 mph.
