became one of the first 20 universities in the
world to oer distance learning. The university
has come a long way since 1971 and today
oers online education opportunities that are
consistently ranked among the top in the
United States.
Flexible Schedule
Online programs feature multiple start times
throughout the year with a new term each month.
Experience
We have decades of experience with secondary
school graduates, college transfers and those that
have already entered the workforce and need the
flexibility that an online degree provides.
Your Own Plan
Personalized degree maps show how you can
graduate on time, regardless of your other
obligations or location.
Flight Specialization (Minor)
The flight minor enables students in Singapore
to graduate with both a bachelors degree and
commercial pilots license, positioning them for
full-time employment with an airline. Students
choosing the flight minor will complete 105
credits in Singapore and the remaining 15 credits
in the BSA degree in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The flight portion of the degree is designed to
be completed in 13 months, and upon returning
to Singapore, students would be able to convert
their FAA license to the local regulator or pursue
employment with international carriers without
license conversion.
Entry to the flight minor is extremely competitive
and due to a limited number of spaces not all
candidates will be selected. Students not selected
for the flight minor will have the option to choose
from one of the other eight specializations
oered in the BSA degree.

If you have a passion for aviation, then there are no other universities that
can remotely match the quality and heritage of an Embry-Riddle education.
Like many others, my initial dream was to be a pilot. However, after joining
Embry-Riddle, I realized that the passion for aviation isn’t just about being a
pilot, it is about what we can oer to the industry and make it a better place.

One of the fondest memories I have at Embry-Riddle’s Asia campus, is the time
I spent working with my batch mates and faculty mentor, Matthew Flaherty, to
organize a joint-community project with Temasek Polytechnic in collaboration
with young students from Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS). Not only
did the initiative foster a bond between the schools, but
it also provided us with an experience that cannot be taught in classrooms.
