ONLINE TICKET FAQ
How do online tickets work?
Follow these instructions:
1. Click the Buy Tickets button to go to the Ticket Sales web page.
2. Choose the ticket(s) and quantity of tickets that you would like to purchase.
3. Confirm your quantity and price and click “Checkout”
4. Fill out your information and hit “Continue”
5. Review your order once more, and if correct, click “Purchase”
6. Choose whether or not to share your purchase with friends on Facebook
7. (Recommended) Click “Get PDF Tickets”
8. Print your tickets, and bring to the zoo entrances for admission!
9. AND, check your email. You will receive an email with the subject “Your 2013
Woodland Park Zoo General Admission Tickets.” This is your receipt. If you’d
like to pull your tickets up at a later date you can do so by clicking the link in
the email body of the receipt.
10. A ticket may be printed multiple times, but only the first ticket that is scanned
will be valid.
11. Please ensure that you bring the printed tickets with you when you come to
the zoo.
Having issues purchasing tickets online? Please click the “Help” button in the top
right corner of the ticket sales page. If you cannot find an answer to your question
there, please email zooinfo@zoo.org
What if I forget my printed tickets? You may show your tickets via a smartphone
or tablet. We do have a way to look up a ticket purchase at the entrances if you’ve
lost your tickets, but you may have to wait in line. We recommend you click on the
Lost your tickets? Reprint now” link on the ticket sales page to reprint your tickets, or
load the tickets onto your phone before you arrive at the zoo.
What if I paid for tickets but did not receive an email or could not print my
tickets? You should receive an email to the address you entered during the ticket
buying process, which contains your receipt and the link to retrieve your tickets. If
you do not receive the email, be sure to check your spam or junk mail box. Other
delays could be due to problems with your Internet connection or service provider, so
please wait, then check your email again. If you still don’t receive the email, please
call 206-548-2500.
Can I change my tickets after purchasing them? Valid online ticket purchases
may be applied to a membership the day that you visit the zoo with your ticket.
Please visit the Membership office at either entrance to do so. Other than upgrades
to memberships, online tickets may not be changed, used as other forms of
promotional value (e.g. for the ZooStore, for on-grounds food purchases, etc.) or
refunded.
How long are online tickets valid? Tickets for general admission are valid for the
dates listed on the ticket. Typically May 1 September 30 or October 1 April 30. If
you’ve purchased an Oct. – Apr. ticket, the value of the ticket may be applied to a
peak season (May September) ticket for the value that you have paid, and an
additional charge will apply so that you are paying the full face value of a peak
season ticket. These tickets do not expire and are valid for any day that the zoo is
open to the general public. All after-hours special events will require a separate ticket
and a General Admission ticket may not be used as payment towards one of those
tickets.
How secure is this transaction? We have partnered with an online gateway
ticketing system to make online tickets as secure as possible. All credit card
information is encrypted before transmission and storage. However, as with all online
transactions, the purchaser also has an important role to play:
Always keep your anti-virus software up to date.
Always empty your browser cache and history if you are using a public
computer.
Never give out your credit card information if you have any doubts about the
authenticity of a webpage.
Never send your credit card information via email.
