How to Make It
1
Help crafters cut out three of template #1
and one each of templates #2 and #3. Make
sure crafters cut along all the black lines.
2
Have crafters punch holes where designated
on each template.
3
Instruct crafters to place all three
#1 templates next to each other and tape
them together at the edges. Prompt crafters
to wrap the template around their head and
mark the size with a pencil or marker. Then
help crafters cut away the excess template
before rolling and taping the ends together.
4
Prompt crafters to take one brad and lace it
through all the holes on template #1 so the
templates form a round shape.
5
To place the visor, direct crafters to use two
brads to attach template #2 to template #1.
Using the holes in template #2 as a guide,
crafters should poke holes through
template #1 to create the front of the
helmet.
6
Have crafters tape template #3 to the back
of template #1 to create the helmet’s neck
guard.
7
Instruct crafters to rip and tape strips of
tissue paper along the top of the helmet to
create a colorful plume.
8
When crafters are finished, have them place
the helmets on their heads. Adventure
awaits!
