TO SERVE
SVdP Saint Vincent de Paul. Since 1946, the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul - Phoenix has been dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and
healing individuals and families in our community who have nowhere
else to turn for help. SVdP provides meaningful opportunities for
volunteers to serve their neighbors in need with love and compassion.
WISH Women In Service and Hope. A Mission Ambassador
shares, supports and advances the programs of SVdP through personal
relationships, professional networks and identifying persons in the
community with a heart for service and the desire to make a difference
in the lives of others.

WISH Women In Service and Hope. As Mission Ambassadors, we work together to invest in the legacy of
St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix. Serving one of Arizona’s largest human services charities connects WISH members
with the community in a wide variety of ways.
We steward the:
• public understanding of issues facing the underserved.
• development of public awareness to the mission of SVdP.
• culture of philanthropy within families and our community.
• connecting women and philanthropy.
• creation of activities and events that cultivate donations.
• expansion of a growing WISH membership that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.
• spirit of collaboration for a group of women seeking to serve.

Investing In Mission WISH members
make an annual financial investment of $1,000
to SVdP. Additionally, they each raise another
$1,000 to support the mission.
Building Gifts WISH members participate
in fundraising activities, including in-home
gatherings, tours, virtual events, special
projects and SVdP major campaigns.
Ambassador Work WISH members
make a time commitment from two to four
hours a month.
Philanthropic Leadership WISH
members invite others into the work of SVdP.
We do this by leading tours, supporting events
and fundraising for SVdP.
Building Community WISH members
meet new people, learn new things and
connect with philanthropic leaders. Inspired
conversations, fellowship and the commitment
to serve are part of our process.

WISH Women In Service and Hope. SVdP embodies a Culture of Philanthropy. This compass leads us to tell the
stories of those with no voice, ask the community to share our mission, demonstrate heartfelt gratitude and serve with
