FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
• To fit the R&G tail tidy, remove the pillion seat by removing the plastic cover on the front of the
seat (using a small flathead screwdriver to pry loose may help), then remove the securing nut
with a 12mm socket, as shown in picture 1 & 2. The rider’s seat must then also be removed
using the ignition key in the lock located at the rear of the seat.
• Remove 2x lower panel bolts with a 4mm Allen key, as shown in picture 3.
• Remove 4x top 10mm bolts securing the ‘wing’ panels, as shown in picture 4.
• Remove 2x bolts linking ‘wing’ panels with rear light using a 4mm Allen key, as shown in picture
5.
• Remove 4x underside 10mm bolts securing the ‘wing’ panels, as shown in picture 6, and
remove both panels by gently pulling to unclip from carrier.
• Remove 2x upper bolts securing the panel using a 4mm Allen key as shown in picture 7, and
remove the panel.
• Remove the pair of relays from the carrier by gently sliding towards the rear of the bike, as
shown in picture 8.
• Remove 2x 10mm bolts securing the relay carrier to the rear subframe, as shown in picture 9.
• Remove 2x bolts securing the relay carrier to side panels with a 4mm Allen key, as shown in
picture 10, and remove the carrier.
• Slide main fuse box from carrier bracket as shown in picture 11.
• Open the wiring shroud and disconnect the 3 connections shown in picture 12 and detailed
below:

• Using a 10mm socket, remove the 4x nuts securing the OEM tail tidy and fuse box bracket, as
shown in picture 13, and carefully lower the OEM tail tidy while feeding the wiring through the
hole in the subframe.

If using the original indicators
• If fitting the OEM indicators, remove the two bolts on the underside and the two bolts at the
rear of the OEM tail tidy to remove the plastic cover, exposing the wires, as shown in picture
14.
• Remove the indicator spreading plates shown in picture 15 by unclipping from either side of
the indicator rubber seal and gently squeeze the indicator stems to remove the indicators.
• Fit the original indicators to the new licence plate bracket (item 1 – TB0265) using the
indicator adaptors (item 14 – I0037) (in position shown in picture 16 so it fits in the groove
in the stem and between the indicator and the bracket).
If using the mini indicators
• Fit the indicators of choice to the licence plate bracket (item 1 – TB0265) (R&G mini
indicator product code RG370 for bulb type and RG371 for LED type or RG372 for the Aero
shaped LED type) using the indicator adaptors (item 3 – I0016) sandwiched between either
side of the bracket as shown in picture 17. Secure the indicators to the adaptors using the
provided nuts and a 13mm spanner, as shown in picture 18.
• Please then use the heat shrink provided (item 8) to protect the wiring.
• Take the R&G licence plate bracket (item 1 – TB0265) and fit the R&G license plate illuminator
(item 6) to the assembly, as shown in picture 19. Use a small amount of superglue to stick the
light shroud in position. Fit one length of heatshrink (item 8) to the wires and tighten the nuts
on the rear, as shown in picture 20.
• Feed all wiring through the access hole on the tail tidy and secure wiring to bracket using the
provided cable ties (item 9) fed through corresponding holes in the bracket.
• Offer up the new rubber grommet (item 2 – RG0035) to the underside of the tail tidy mounting
location, as shown in picture 21, aligning the 4 holes in the gromet with the 4 mounting holes
and allow to sit flat within the panel.
• The new tail tidy assembly can now be offered up to the underside of the bike. To do this, first,
feed the indicator and number plate illuminator wiring through the cut-out on the rubber
gromet, then position one M6 x 15mm long button head bolt (item 11) with one M6 washer
fitted (item 13) through each of the 4 holes on the mounting plate of the tail tidy, as shown in
picture 22.
• This can now be positioned in the opening on the underside of the tail, before locating each of
the 4 bolts with the corresponding holes on the rubber grommet and mounting holes on the
subframe. Re-fit the fuse box bracket over the corresponding bolts, before fitting a washer
(item 13) and loosely fitting one of the provided nyloc nuts (item 12) to the exposed end of
each bolt, as shown in picture 23.
• Ensure the tail tidy is located correctly before tightening the 4 bolts, using a 10mm socket or
spanner to hold the nut from above whilst tightening with a 4mm Allen key from the underside,
as shown in picture 24.
• To connect the OEM indicators, simply re-fit the matching connectors together.

• To connect the R&G mini indicators, fit an indicator connector (item 5) to the corresponding
indicator bullet connectors as shown in picture 25 (BLACK – BLACK, YELLOW – GREEN) and re-
fit to the corresponding female 3-pin connectors within the shroud opened earlier.
• To connect the license plate illuminator, fit the wiring connector (item 4 – CON0007) to the
corresponding bullet connectors of the illuminator as shown in picture 26 (BLACK – BLACK, RED
– RED) and re-fit to the corresponding female 2-pin connector within the shroud opened earlier.
• If using mini indicators, you may have to use resistors to achieve the correct flash rate. It is a
good idea to check the licence plate illuminator and indicators at this stage; if illumination fails
please swap the bullet connection around. Once happy, close the wiring shroud and tuck back in
to its original position.
• Ensure the tail tidy is securely mounted and all bolts are fully tightened.
• Re-fit all panels and brackets, making sure the fuse box and relays are secured safely back onto
their carriers, with all wiring neatly routed.
• Re-fit the rider’s seat and then the pillion seat, ensuring to re-fit the nut and plastic cover to
securely mount the seat in place.
• Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).
• Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector in an appropriate location.
• Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.

been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good
engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting
its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and otherwise its liability
shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if
they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods
must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25%
of the gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges.
No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does
not refer to faulty goods.

NOTICE DE MONTAGE
• Pour monter le support de plaque R&G, enlever le siege passager en enlevant le cache plastique
à l’avant du siège (en utilisant un petit tournevis plat pour le soulever), puis enlever l’écrou
muni d’une clé de 12mm, voir photo 1 & 2. Le siège du pilote doit ensute être enlevé, pour cela
utilisez la clé dans le verrou place à l’arrière du siège.
• Enlever les 2 boulons de panneaux inférieurs avec une clé Allen 4mm, voir photo 3.
• Enlever les 4 boulons 10mm supérieurs qui fixent les panneaux en forme « d’ailes », voir photo
4.
• Enlever les 2 boulons reliant des panneaux d’ailes avec le feu arrière, en utilisant une clé Allen
4mm, voir photo 5.
• Enlever les 4 boulons 10mm situés au-dessous, et fixant les panneaux en forme d’aile, voir
photo 6, et enlevez les deux panneaux en tirant doucement pour les dégager du support
• Enlever les 2 boulons supérieurs fixant le panneau, en utilisant une clé Allen de 4mm, voir
photo 7, puis enlever le panneau.
• Enlever la paire de relais du porteur en le glissant doucement vers l’arrière de la moto, comme
indiqué sur la photo 8.
• Enlever les 2 boulons 10mm qui fixent le relais du porteur au sous-cadre arrière, voir photo 9.
• Enlever les 2 boulons qui fixent le relais du porteur aux panneaux latéraux, à l’aide d’une clé
Allen 4mm, voir photo 10, puis enlever le porteur.
• Faites glisser la boîte à fusibles principale du support de porteur, voir photo 11.
• Ouvrez le capot de câblage et débranchez les 3 connexions illustrées sur la photo 12 et
détaillées ci-dessous :
CONNECTEUR BLANC / TRANSPARENT À 2 BROCHES = FEU DE NUMÉRO DE PLAQUE
CONNECTEUR NOIR À 3 BROCHES = CLIGNOTANT GAUCHE
CONNECTEUR 3 BROCHES GRIS = CLIGNOTANT DROIT
• À l'aide d'une douille de 10 mm, retirez les 4 écrous de fixation du support de plaque et du
support de boîte à fusibles d’origine, comme indiqué sur la photo 13, puis abaissez avec
précaution le support de plaque d’origine tout en faisant passer le câblage dans le trou du sous-
cadre
Si vous utilisez les clignotants d'origine
• Si vous montez les clignotants d’origine, enlevez les deux boulons situés sur la face
inférieure et les deux boulons situés à l’arrière du support de plaque d’origine, pour enlever
le cache en plastique et exposer les fils, comme indiqué sur la photo 14.

• Enlevez les plaques d’écartement des clignotants illustrées sur la photo 15 en les déclipsant
de part et d’autre du joint en caoutchouc du clignotant, et en pressant doucement les tiges
du clignotant pour enlever les clignotants.
• Monter les clignotants d’origine sur le nouveau support de plaque (article 1 – TB0265) en
utilisant les adaptateurs de clignotant (article 14 – I0037) (voir photo 16 de façon à ce qu’ils
se placent dans la rainure de la tige de clignotant entre le clignotant et le support).
Si vous utilisez les mini clignotants
• Fixez les clignotants de votre choix sur le support de plaque d'immatriculation (article 1 -
TB0265) (mini-clignotant R & G, code produit RG370 pour type ampoule et RG371 pour type
à LED ou RG372 pour type à LED latérale) à l'aide des adaptateurs de clignotant (article 3 -
I0016) pris en sandwich entre les deux côtés du support, comme indiqué sur la photo 17.
Fixez les clignotants aux adaptateurs à l'aide des écrous fournis et d'une clé plate de 13
mm, comme indiqué sur la photo 18.
• Utilisez ensuite le manchon thermo rétractable fourni (article 8) pour protéger les fils.
• Prenez le support de plaque R&G (article 1 - TB0265) et montez le feu de plaque R&G (article 6)
sur l'ensemble, comme indiqué sur la photo 19. Utilisez une petite quantité de colle pour coller
le protège feu en place. Fixez une longueur de manchon thermo rétractable (article 8) sur les
fils puis serrez les écrous à l'arrière, comme indiqué sur la photo 20.
• Faites passer tous les câbles par le trou d'accès du support puis fixez-les au support en utilisant
les attaches de câble fournies (article 9) dans les trous correspondants du support.
• Placez le nouvel œillet en caoutchouc (article 2 - RG0035) sur la face inférieure de
l’emplacement du support de fixation, voir photo 21, en alignant les 4 trous de la rondelle en
caoutchouc avec les 4 trous de montage et en permettant un positionnement à plat dans le
panneau.
• Le nouvel ensemble du support de plaque peut maintenant être placé au-dessous de la moto.
Pour cela, insérez d’abord le câblage du clignotant et du feu de plaque dans la découpe de la
rondelle en caoutchouc, puis positionnez un boulon M6 x 15mm (article 11) avec une rondelle
M6 (article 13) dans chacun des 4 trous de la plaque de fixation, voir photo 22.
• Celui-ci peut maintenant être positionné dans l'ouverture située sous la queue, avant de placer
chacun des 4 boulons avec les trous correspondants sur la rondelle en caoutchouc et les trous
de fixation sur le sous-cadre. Réinstallez le support de la boîte à fusibles sur les boulons
correspondants, avant de placer une rondelle (article 13) et de visser l'un des écrous fournis
(article 12) sur l'extrémité visible de chaque boulon, comme indiqué sur la photo 23.
• Assurez-vous que le support de plaque soit correctement placé avant de serrer les 4 boulons,
en utilisant une douille ou une clé de 10 mm pour fixer l'écrou par le haut, tout en serrant avec
une clé Allen de 4 mm du dessous, comme indiqué sur la photo 24.
• Pour connecter les clignotants d’origine, réinstallez simplement les connecteurs correspondant.
• Pour connecter les mini clignotants R&G, montez un connecteur de clignotant (article 5) sur les
connecteurs correspondants, voir photo 25 (NOIR - NOIR, JAUNE - VERT) et réinstallez-le sur
les connecteurs femelles à 3 broches correspondants dans le hauban ouvert plus tôt.

• Pour brancher le feu de plaque d'immatriculation, branchez le connecteur de fils (article 4 -
CON0007) sur les connecteurs correspondants du feu de plaque, comme indiqué sur la photo 26
(NOIR - NOIR, ROUGE - ROUGE) puis remontez-le sur le connecteur femelle à 2 broches
correspondant dans le hauban ouvert plus tôt.
• Si vous utilisez des mini-clignotants, vous devrez peut-être utiliser des résistances pour obtenir
la vitesse de clignotement correcte. Il est judicieux de vérifier le bon fonctionnement du feu de
plaque d'immatriculation et des clignotants à ce stade. Si l'éclairage échoue, veuillez permuter
les connecteurs. Une fois satisfait, fermez-le protège fils et replacez-le dans sa position initiale.
• Assurez-vous que le support de plaque soit correctement monté et que tous les boulons soient
bien serrés.
• Réinstallez tous les panneaux et tous les supports en vous assurant que la boîte à fusibles et les
relais soient bien fixés sur leurs supports et que le câblage soit correctement acheminé.
• Remontez la selle du pilote puis la selle du passager en veillant à remettre en place l’écrou et le
cache en plastique afin de fixer correctement la selle en place.
• Remettez en place la plaque d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage).
• Selon les lois locales, attacher le réflecteur à l’endroit approprié.
• Tester les feu de plaque et tous les autres feux avant de prendre la route.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
• Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren zu können, entfernen Sie den Beifahrersitz, indem
Sie die Kunststoffabdeckung vorne am Sitz entfernen (evtl. einen kleinen Schraubenzieher
verwenden, um sie zu lösen), danach die Befestigungsmutter mit einem 12mm Steckschlüssel
entfernen wie in den Abbildungen 1 & 2 abgebildet. Der Fahrersitz muss anschließend ebenfalls
entfernt werden – benutzen Sie den Zündschlüssel für das Schloss hinten am Sitz.
• Entfernen Sie die 2 unteren Verkleidungsschrauben mit einem 4mm Inbusschlüssel – siehe
Abbildung 3.
• Entfernen Sie die 4 oberen 10mm Schrauben, die die seitlichen Heckverkleidungen befestigen –
siehe Abbildung 4.
• Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben, die die seitlichen Heckverkleidungen und das Rücklicht
verbinden mit einem 4mm Inbusschlüssel – siehe Abbildung 5.
• Entfernen Sie vier 10mm Schrauben an der Unterseite, die die Heckverkleidungen befestigen –
siehe Abbildung 6, und entfernen Sie beide Seitenverkleidungen. Ziehen Sie sie vorsichtig, um
sie zu lösen.
• Entfernen Sie die 2 oberen Schrauben, die das Verkleidungsteil befestigen, mit einem 4mm
Inbusschlüssel wie in Abbildung 7 abgebildet und entfernen Sie das Verkleidungsteil.
• Entfernen Sie die Relais vom Halter, indem Sie sie vorsichtig nach hinten schieben - siehe
Abbildung 8.
• Entfernen Sie zwei 10mm Schrauben, die den Relaishalter am hinteren Hilfsrahmen befestigen –
siehe Abbildung 9.
• Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben, die den Relaishalter an den Seitenteilen fixieren mit einem 4mm
Inbusschlüssel wie in Abbildung 10 abgebildet und entfernen Sie den Halter.
• Schieben Sie den Hauptsicherungskasten aus der Halterung wie in Abbildung 11 abgebildet.
• Öffnen Sie die Kabelabdeckung und trennen Sie die 3 Steckverbinder, die in Abbildung 12
abgebildet und unten beschreiben sind:
WEISS/KLAR STECKVERBINDER 2-POLIG = KENNZEICHENBELEUCHTUNG
SCHWARZ STECKVERBINDER 3-POLIG = BLINKER LINKE SEITE
GRAU STECKVERBINDER 3-POLIG = BLINKER RECHTE SEITE
• Benutzen Sie einen 10mm Steckschlüssel, um die 4 Muttern zu entfernen, die den original
Kennzeichenhalter und die Halterung für den Sicherungskasten befestigen – siehe Abbildung 13.
Danach den original Kennzeichenhalter herabsetzen und die Kabel gleichzeitig durch die Öffnung
im Hilfsrahmen führen.

Wenn Sie die Originalblinker verwenden:
• Wenn Sie die Originalblinker montieren, entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben an der Unterseite
und die zwei Schrauben hinten am original Kennzeichenhalter, um die Kunststoffabdeckung
zu entfernen und somit die Kabel freizulegen – siehe Abbildung 14.
• Entfernen Sie die Halteplatten für die Blinker, die in Abbildung 15 abgebildet sind, indem Sie
sie von beiden Seiten der Gummidichtung lösen und die Blinker-Stiele zusammendrücken,
um die Blinker zu entfernen.
• Montieren Sie die Originalblinker am neuen Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1 – TB0265) –
verwenden Sie die Blinkeradapter (Artikel 14 – I0037) (an der in Abbildung 16
gekennzeichneten Position montieren, sodass es in den Einschnitt am Schaft und zwischen
dem Blinker und der Halterung passt).
Wenn Sie die Miniblinker verwenden:
• Montieren Sie die Blinker Ihrer Wahl am Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1 – TB0265): R&G Mini-
Blinker Artikel-Nr. RG370 (Glühbirne), RG371 (LED) oder RG372 (Aero-Form LED) –
benutzen Sie dazu die Blinker-Adapter (Artikel 3 – I0016) zwischen beiden Seiten der
Halterung wie in Abbildung 17 abgebildet. Die Blinker mit den mitgelieferten Muttern an den
Adaptern befestigen – siehe Abbildung 18.
• Montieren Sie die R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung (Artikel 6) am R&G Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel
1 – TB0265) wie in Abbildung 19 abgebildet. Benutzen Sie etwas Sekundenkleber, um die
Abdeckung in Position zu fixieren. Eine Länge Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 8) an den Kabeln
anbringen und die Muttern hinten befestigen –siehe Abbildung 20.
• Schieben Sie alle Kabel durch das Zugangsloch am Kennzeichenhalter. Die Kabel, die
anschließend durch die entsprechenden Öffnungen an der Halterung geführt werden, mit den
mitgelieferten Kabelbindern (Artikel 9) an der Halterung befestigen.
• Die neue Gummidichtung (Artikel 2 – RG0035) an der Unterseite des Kennzeichenhalters
anbringen, siehe Abbildung 21 – hierbei die 4 Öffnungen in der Dichtung mit den 4
Montageöffnungen ausrichten.
• Die neue Kennzeichenhalter-Einheit kann nun an die Unterseite des Motorrades angesetzt
werden. Zuerst führen Sie die Kabel für die Blinker und die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung durch den
Ausschnitt in der Gummidichtung, dann jeweils eine M6 x 15mm Inbusschraube (Artikel 11), die
mit einer M6 Unterlegscheibe (Artikel 13) versehen ist, durch jede der 4 Öffnungen an der
Montageplatte des Kennzeichenhalters führen – siehe Abbildung 22.
• Dies kann nun an der Öffnung an der Unterseite des Hecks positioniert werden. Die 4
Schrauben durch die entsprechenden Öffnungen in der Gummidichtung dann durch die
Montageöffnungen im Hilfsrahmen einführen. Die Halterung für den Sicherungskasten über die
Schrauben legen, und jeweils eine Unterlegscheibe an jeder Schraube montieren. An den
hervorstehenden Enden der Schrauben jeweils eine selbstsichernde Mutter vom Kit (Artikel 12)
lose montieren –siehe Abbildung 23.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Kennzeichenhalter nun richtig positioniert ist, bevor Sie die 4
Schrauben befestigen. Benutzen Sie einen 10 mm Steckschlüssel oder Schraubenschlüssel, um

die Mutter von oben zu befestigen während Sie sie mit einer 4mm Inbusschlüssel an der
Unterseite festziehen –siehe Abbildung 24.
• Um die Originalblinker zu verbinden, einfach die passenden Steckverbinder miteinander
verbinden.
• Um die R&G Miniblinker zu verbinden, je einen Verbinder (Artikel 5) an den passenden
Kabelverbindern anbringen – siehe Abbildung 25 (SCHWARZ – SCHWARZ, GELB – GRÜN) und
mit den 3-poligen weiblichen Steckern in der zuvor geöffneten Abdeckung wiederverbinden.
• Um die R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung zu verbinden, den Kabelverbinder (Artikel 4 – CON0007)
mit dem entsprechenden Verbinder für die Beleuchtung verbinden – siehe Abbildung 26
(SCHWARZ – SCHWARZ, ROT – ROT) und mit dem passenden, 2-poligen weiblichen Stecker in
der zuvor geöffneten Abdeckung wiederverbinden.
• Wenn Sie Miniblinker montieren, benötigen Sie eventuell Widerstände (separat erhältlich), um
die richtige Blitzgeschwindigkeit einzustellen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt empfiehlt es sich, die
ordnungsgemäße Funktion der kompletten Beleuchtung zu überprüfen. Falls die Beleuchtung
nicht funktionieren sollte, tauschen Sie die Kabelverbinder untereinander. Die Abdeckung für die
Kabel danach schließen und in ihre Ursprungsposition versetzen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Kennzeichenhalter sicher montiert ist, und dass alle Schrauben mit
dem richtigen Anzugsdrehmoment befestigt sind.
• Montieren Sie alle Verkleidungsteile und Halterungen wieder. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der
Sicherungskasten sowie die Relais sicher an ihren Halterungen befestigt sind, und dass die
Kabel ordentlich verlegt sind.
• Montieren Sie den Fahrersitz und dann den Beifahrersitz wieder – bitte darauf achten, dass Sie
die Mutter und Kunststoffabdeckung sicher montieren, um den Sitz in Position zu fixieren.
• Montieren Sie die das amtliche Kennzeichen (Bohrungen im Kennzeichen evtl. notwendig).
• Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, den mitgelieferten Rückstrahler an die dafür
vorgesehene Stelle anbringen.
• Überprüfen Sie erneut die Funktion der Beleuchtung (Blinker und
Kennzeichenhalterbeleuchtung) nochmal vor Gebrauch des Fahrzeuges.

quality and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise reasonable skill and care and rectify any fault free
of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the
Products. On return of any defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if the Products have
been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from
accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or
consequential loss and otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned. These terms do not affect
the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RACING RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if they were purchased direct from us (customer
must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G Racing. All returns are subject to a
25% restocking and handling fee (25% of the gross value exc. P&P – at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges. No
returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and does not refer to faulty goods.
