SEVIS PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS (F, M, or J VISA APPLICANTS)

IMPORTANT: To avoid duplicated payment, you should first check online whether you/your agency has already paid this fee.

Option 2: Online payment by credit or debit card

You can make an online payment using Visa, MasterCard,

American Express credit cards or debit cards that have

the Visa or MasterCard logo.

How to pay by credit or debit card

Step 1: Fill out the Form I-901 online at www.fmjfee.com.

Step 2: Choose the credit card or debit card option,

enter your card information.

Step 3: Submit the payment.

Step 4: Print “SEVIS I-901 Payment Confirmation”.

Option 1: Western Union Quick Pay™

You can pay the I-901 SEVIS fee using the Western

Union Quick Pay™ service. Western Union will collect Form I-901

SEVIS fee in local currency, and transmit both the payment and

data on Form I-901 to U.S. Immigration and Customs

Enforcement (ICE).

How to pay by Western Union Quick Pay™

Step 1: Fill out Form I-901 online at www.fmjfee.com.

Step 2: Choose to pay by check or money order.

Step 3: Print the coupon and take it to your local Western Union.

Step 4: Fill out the Quick Collect/Quick Pay Form.

Step 5: Present the Quick Collect/Quick Pay Form and your

payment to the Western Union agent for processing. Payment

confirmation will be available immediately at www.fmjfee.com.

Remember: It takes two or three business days to process

your I-901 SEVIS fee payment.

If you are paying on behalf of an applicant, Western Union

may require your name and address. Please use the applicant’s

SEVIS ID. After submitting the payment, please e-mail

fmjfee.sevis@ice.dhs.gov with INFO CHANGE in the subject line.

Please include the SEVIS ID.

Please print the SEVIS I-901 Payment Confirmation and

bring it to your student visa interview.
